i’ve just finished reading this book , it is so practicat it teaches you the how to do rather than other huge books with the intention of copy and paste information from other resources … and leaves you with lot of information and nothing to do if you may maybe read the 500 – 1000 ID
it is only 200 ID which makes it readable the terrible business in this book is with the intention of the writter is so talkative sometimes 
, he always tell you with the intention of it is better to buy an external device rather than repairing and talk a lot in this vicinity the prices of the external devices and where to find it and the goods it do for you but we boght this book to repair everybody knows with the intention of he can use an external device and he talks in this vicinity mainframe prices and how pocket the choice linking repairing and export another time we must tell him with the intention of we know how to do our finance and it is not a book of accounting and finance 
we bought this book to repair laptops only .
(ex : fuse on the regulator)
another terrible business in this book is with the intention of he doesn’t go in depth in replacing components soldered on the main board he just says with the intention of it is hard and sometimes give you some hints ( reflowing , fuse on the regulator , discolerring connectors of semi conducters and chips and tell you to do search without telling you some fine points or how to do it or charitable you a photo on his website )
it is goodly organized but not extremely goodly or excelent , he repeats same information lot of times and he gives you hints and tell you with the intention of we’ll discuss this later and this later never come
overall it is a fantastic book it gives you what you were looking for before export it , it is the preeminent in the market for its subject without any doubt .

I am a notebook repair technician and have found the flow charts extremely helpful when in a rush or having someone help me. Water supply worth the money.

I like this book, can’t remember to see any other book out there to be so helpful. Straight answers for nearly any notebook issue without a lot of bla, bla…

I became interested in laptops recently and chose to buy this book. I did an large search and I may maybe not find many resources for mainframe repair. This field is constantly tender with new models every time. This a fantastic book if you are interested in fitting your mainframe. Although it is more in this vicinity troubleshooting rather than repair it will get you to the problem.
